Results: SARL HF Phone Contest 2001
Hans Kappetijn ZS6KR from Pretoria Amateur Radio Club made it three in a row, defeating Mickey Esterhuysen ZS5QB operating the Midlands club station ZS5PMB. Gary Potgieter ZS5NK of Highway rounded out the top three. Bernie van der Walt ZS4TX of Bloemfontein dominated the single band category on 40 m by a wide margin.
Among the front runners, ZS1EL, ZS4TX and ZS5PMB produced error-free logs. Several claimed scores were reduced drastically because of errors and unmarked duplicates.
Contest results will include the comments that participants included on their summary sheets. They add a very interesting dimension to the contest. Look for the full results in an upcoming issue of RadioZS.
Results of the club competition will be announced with the CW scores, as these have to be taken into account.

Mickey Esterhuysen ZS5QB het die Midlands-klubstasie ZS5PMB in die tweede plek geplaas, met Gary Potgieter ZS5NK van Highway kort op sy hakke. Bernie van der Walt ZS4TX van Bloemfontein het die enkelbandafdeling op 40 m oorheers.
Onder die voorlopers het ZS1EL, ZS4TX en ZS5PMB foutvrye logs ingestuur. ’n Paar van die hoë aansprake is erg verminder weens foute en ongemerkte duplikaat-kontakte.
Die wedstryduitslae sal die deelnemers se kommentare insluit. Hulle maak die wedstryd heelwat meer interessant. Moet dus nie die uitslae, wat binnekort in RadioZS verskyn, misloop nie!
Uitslae van die klubkompetisie sal saam met die Kode-tellings aangekondig word, omdat hierdie tellings ook in ag geneem moet word.
